Day 115- Purple Froot Loops

After church today, we went to breakfast at Souplantation. Carsyn loaded up on cereal...topped with whipped cream. Very odd. She enjoyed the whipped cream so much that she ended up spilling all over the table. But, hey, these purple froot loops just happened to all fall together. It was fate that I finish my rainbow theme this way.

Day 114- Blue Sky with Rising Moon

We went to dinner at this great barbecue place tonight except the wait was so long and we had to sit outside in the chilliness for quite a while. While we waited I looked around for all things blue. Turns out the gorgeous sky won out in the end. The best of all things blue.

Day 113- Green Apple

I took this picture at my friend Valerie's house. I could take pictures there all day. There is something so nice about the lighting...

Day 112- Yellow Sour Patch Kids

We took Chloe to the movies last weekend and I got these. I found them hanging around in the diaper bag and Kylea and I shared them.

Day 111- Orange Cutie

Oh Cuties...how I love you. I eat like four of these babies a day. So yummy...

Day 110- Red Flower

This week I am doing a rainbow theme. I am trying to give myself a little motivation and inspiration. I find I work better with a theme of some sort. That being said, this is day 1, Red.

Day 109- Kylea and Our From-Scratch Cupcakes

Kylea had the day off from school today so her and I did some baking. She had never made anything from scratch before. Since her mom just gave me the Better Homes and Gardens cookbook I've been dying to have, we decided on the yellow cake and butter frosting recipes. SO good. Yeah. Diet. Tomorrow.

Day 108- Chloe with New Braces

I have to say, this is just one of my favorite kids in the world. I just love her to pieces. Chloe got new braces this week. She is only 8 so she got them fairly early. She says the whole class gathered around her to check them out. I think she just got top spot for popularity with these babies.

Day 107- Me N Ed's

Oh this pizza is goooood. This one had ham, tomatoes and artichoke hearts. Seriously, I need to go on a diet.

Day 106- Suzy Homemaker

The kitchen is pretty much my favorite room in the house. I love to cook and I especially love to bake. It's very evident in the pounds that seem to be appearing on my body.

Day 105- Happy Birthday, Jill!

Jill is my Dad's wife, who just happens to be lucky enough to have her birthday on Tax Day. We went to El Torito for dinner and my dad made her wear this hat the whole time. Quinn was looking at her like she was an alien or something.

Day 104- A New Resting Place

Since Quinn can no longer sleep in the cosleeper, we have it in the den filled with her toys. Someone...(Samson)...seems to have claimed it for himself. I shudder to think what will be under there when we move it.

Day 103- Rolling Pin Donut

So there is this donut stand in my town called Rolling Pin. BEST. DONUTS. EVER. They are always fresh and so yummy. In my small town, it is also the only place open after 10pm. So you are likely to find a bunch of teenagers hanging out there if you drive by late at night. I used to be one of them.

Day 102- Twilight Tree

This was the first time I have used the night setting on my camera. I actually edited this a bit to brighten it up. But the setting works really well. I think I will definitely be giving it another try. AND my dad just gave me a tripod so, even better!

Day 101- Homeward Bound

Nothing like a rainy winter to make our usually drab Southern California, green and colorful and gorgeous. Our drive home from San Luis Obispo was breathtaking. That is one 3 hour drive I never mind.

Day 100- Nice Day for a White Wedding

DAY 100!!! Yeah! Now I just need some inspiration to get me through the next 265....
Mike and I went to our friend's wedding in San Luis Obispo this weekend. It was a beautiful, quaint wedding at a little farmhouse. The scenery was just gorgeous. But my goodness...was it cold! I felt bad for the bride in her halter dress. She assured us she didn't even feel the cold. She was just so happy.

Day 99- Flight of Fancy

Another remnant from the previous tenants of our house. This pretty little hummingbird flies outside our window every day.

Day 98- Good Morning

Quinn is such a morning person. She pulls herself up as soon as those big blue eyes open and gives us a big smile. It is my favorite thing about the morning.

Day 97- Peaceful

Oh...I love her.

Day 96- Little Readers

Quinn loves books! It makes me so happy to read to her and see her really enjoying it. Now that Gage is sitting up they look at books together a lot. It is just about the cutest thing ever.

Day 95- Kirby

This is the second of my sister's new kitties, Kirby. He finally sat still long enough for a photo.

Day 94- Easter Earthquakes

Uuuggghh...one of my least favorite things in this world. Earthquakes. Why on Earth do I live in California?? I would move for this reason alone. Today, as my husband and I and my in-laws were preparing Easter dinner, I looked up at their pendant lights and they were moving. I thought it was the wind but my mother-in-law told me that those lights don't move in the wind. And then we felt the rolling. The feeling of dizziness. This actually got upgraded to a 7.2. I guess the only comforting thing here is that we had a 7.2 earthquake and California hasn't broken off or broke into complete chaos. Yeah...comforting.

Day 93- Gangsta

Today we had to go to a birthday party. It was so cold and windy and the sun was so bright. Mike freaks out if even one drop of sun hits our fair baby so he put his hat on her head. She thought she was the coolest kid ever.

Day 92- Good Friday

I'm what my sister likes to call a Recovering Catholic. I was brought up with a huge fear of God. I went to Latin Mass every Sunday and wore a veil and had no idea what was going on. And that kind of influenced my ideas on religion my whole life. But last year I all of a sudden got this pull to start going to this Christian church in my town. It just feels so...right there. I never thought I would be one of those Christian people but I think I am becoming one...and I kind of like it.

This tree is out front of my church and when I was heading in for Good Friday service it looked so cool with the setting sun.

Day 91- Easter Eggs

Kylea and I dyed Easter Eggs today. She is 9 years old and this was her first time dying eggs! Unbelieveable. She had a great time. Except, I found out the next day that she hid them under her bed so she could give them to her parents on Easter. Oops. Guess I forgot to give her all the info on Easter Eggs.

Day 90- You Look Pretty Cute in That Polka Dot Bikini, Girrrl

Its been pretty warm around here lately so I have been going through Quinn's 12 month clothes and getting ready to wash them. Although, I'm sure they will still be pretty big on her. She is still wearing 6 month stuff and even some 3 month stuff still. This bikini was in her stash and I had to try it on her. I just love baby shoulders! Aren't they just so soft and adorable??
